Welcome to “Skål Haus” where, as the Scandinavian name suggests, you are sure to find yourselves toasting in celebration of the time you share in this wonderful home while exploring our beautiful area.
Upon arrival, your attention will immediately be drawn to the incredible view of the Enchantment Mountains which are well known for their world-class hiking trails and the majestic scenery leading into them.
This 3200 square foot countryside abode accommodates up to 14 guests comfortably with plenty of personal space for all. Thoughtfully designed, the first and second floors mirror each other with what they have to offer with the exception of the upstairs which provides a fully equipped kitchen and the downstairs offers a nice-sized wet bar with game room (foosball table and arcade machine). Both of these areas open up to the dining and/or living areas which allows you to easily enjoy your family and friends. If relaxation is on the menu, step outside and settle into one of the hot tubs that can be found on each level of this home. Yes, there are two! When the night falls and it’s time to wind down after a day of adventure, you will find each level has its own queen guest room, a pyramid bunk bedroom (twin over queen), a separate bathroom and each floor has its very own king master suite! Each master suite includes a ¾ bathroom with shower, a TV that streams into your latest Netflix show and private access to either the patio on the ground level or a deck on the upper floor, which are perfect places to take in the morning view or to listen to the crickets while gazing at the evening stars!
The expansive fenced inner yard space and the outer lawn area (from south fence out to the rocks by East Leavenworth Rd.) offers plenty of room for children to run off some of that boundless energy and for your group to participate in any fun-filled activities you may have planned.
This property is located 2.8 miles from downtown Leavenworth.

Please NOTE: This home has a surveillance camera in place and in use on the garage and pointed away from the main house. One is pointed towards the outer lawn on the south side. One is pointed at the parking lot and the last is pointed out in front of the garage. The garage is not included with this rental.
If you are planning to visit during the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons and we hold firm to our cancelation policy.

The check in said to go over the house and let them know if anything was not right. I texted some minor details and they were quick to thank me. When I called about the dishwasher, they were kind and said they would send someone right away, and they did.

We really enjoyed our family trip to Leavenworth staying at the Skal Haus! It was in the most beautiful location with stunning views! The house was large enough to accommodate our big family with plenty of sleeping spaces for everyone. Having two living rooms and 2 hot tubs was also great, enough room for everyone without feeling crowded. The house is a little dated, some updates would be nice but overall a neat little place to stay & very close to town! We would stay again. Thank you!

Accommodation was great, kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were large and the mattresses very, very comfortable. Soaking in the hot tub was the perfect way to end the day. The view from any window was breathless and so peaceful. Our only negative comment was that the lounge did not have sufficient comfortable seating for more than 5 people.
