Welcome to “Mountain Retreat," a peaceful dwelling in a private community. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle, enjoy a scenic drive through the backcountry on the way to your mountain destination. You’ll be greeted by beautiful territorial views and the calming sounds of nature.
You will enter the home on the first floor, where you can find an entertainment room to keep the kiddos occupied, as well as sleeping quarters conveniently located next to a guest bathroom. While the kids enjoy the 4-in-1 game table and a TV large enough to binge that Netflix series in style, the adults can gather upstairs to relax and reset.
As you head up the stairwell, you’ll catch a glimpse of the fabulous, floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace that acts as a centerpiece for the living room. This is a great place to gather for movie night, or to lounge in front of the fire while watching the snowfall in the winter months. The wall of windows this room offers means that even when the TV is off, you’ll have plenty to watch if you just look outside. Just a few steps away, with its sparkling granite countertops and updated appliances, the gourmet kitchen is a chef’s paradise. Fully stocked with everything you need to make a vacation-worthy meal, feel free to impress your friends and family with those new recipes. When the meal is complete, you can all come together in the attached dining room to serve and enjoy!
The other half of the upstairs is dedicated to rest and relaxation. You can expect to find a cozy queen bed in the first bedroom, and the master suite is where you will find the king bed. The suite is attached to a walk-in closet as well as a lavish double-sink bathroom. Complete with an electric fireplace, picture yourself being greeted by a warm fire on a cool morning, just before heading out to enjoy your cup of coffee on the porch.
The front porch is a bird watcher's paradise. With views of the rolling Peshastin hills, there are plenty of sights to see. In the summer months, you can even choose to dine at the outdoor seating area. With all that this quaint, remote home has to offer, come see for yourself why it’s the perfect retreat for a family looking to reconnect.
There is a ton of activities and attractions you can hit within moments from home. Take a scenic drive along the hidden canyon to the nearby Peshastin Pinnacles State Park for a little walk with breathtaking views of the valley and Enchantments. Visit the Aplets & Cotlets Museum and see how your favorite treats are made and come from the assembly line. Look into events held at the Chelan County Fair Grounds. Get a bit more extreme and book a rafting trip for the entire crew on a hot summer day; most rafting companies in the area are using takeout from the river just minutes away from home.
